1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication and communication. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information is processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your card details.

1.2 Bookface Credentials

If you choose to connect Bookface monitoring, your YC login credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. We use them solely to search Bookface on your behalf. You can delete your credentials at any time from your settings page.

1.3 Usage Data

We collect standard usage data including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and feature usage to improve the Service. We use cookies for authentication and session management.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain the Service, including lead monitoring and scoring
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send scan results and lead alerts to your configured channels (e.g., Slack)
• Communicate important updates about the Service
• Improve and optimize the Service

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with the following third-party services necessary to operate the Service:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Anthropic — AI-powered lead scoring (post content only, no personal data)
• Railway — application hosting

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Scan results and prefilter decisions are retained for 30 days. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from your settings page or by contacting us.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, secure credential storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Service.
